December ’19 Update

Pasco ARES members,

Just a few updates. Most of you know by now that our Emergency Coordinator, Ralph McCullough, has had several surgeries for his knees. He unfortunately has suffered a complication and will be out of circulation for a few weeks and hopefully not a few months. He has asked that I fill in as the acting EC until he can get back.

As we are approaching the holidays we will cancel the ARES/Skywarn net on Christmas day December 25th. New Years Day January 1st will go on as usual.

The monthly meeting will be held as usual on the first Saturday of the month January 42020. We will continue the usual rotation which means the January meeting is at the Dade City location (38319 McDonald St). Ralph had asked John KK4ITX to set up a series of training sessions for 2020 so I’m sure the new year will have some interesting things to come.

I hope to see you all there, and I hope you all have a Merry Christmas or a Happy Hanukkah and a merry new year.

Frank Kaleyias

ARES March meeting

We will not be having a March ARES meeting.

But there is a hamfest in Zephyrhills that day. So please feel free to come on down and see us at the hamfest. We will have a table setup for Pasco County ARES.

ARES February Meeting

ARES February Meeting – Eastside EOC

The February meeting for ARES will be held at the Eastside EOC on Saturday Feb 3rd @ 1100 hrs.  The EOC East / IT Center or whatever you want to call it is the new building on McDonald St.  There is an elevator on the loading dock on the West side of the building.  I will have someone there to let everyone in.  I have a card key to the building but no other way to unlock it.

We will be working on Net Control Schedules for the year and hopefully some other items. Hope to see everyone there.
